Feyenoord announce the signing of Vitesse winger and Algeria international Anis Hadj Moussa

Feyenoord have officially announced the signing of talented winger Anis Hadj Moussa, who will join the Rotterdam club at the end of the season. The 22-year-old has spent the second half of this season on loan at Vitesse from Belgian second-tier side Patro Eisden Maasmechelen. After making 10 appearances for the relegation threatened side, he’s put pen to paper on a five-year contract at De Kuip.

Anis Hadj Moussa featured twice for the Algeria national team during last months international break, making his senior debut in their 3-2 friendly victory over Bolivia, and then featuring towards the end of Algeria’s 3-3 draw with South Africa. At Vitesse, the French-born forward has scored once and provided two assists in his first ten appearances.

Vitesse are currently scrapping down at the bottom of the Eredivisie table, having won just four of their 28 games so far this season. With six games remaining, their chances of surviving the drop seem unlikely, but Anis Hadj Moussa‘s contributions will certainly give the Arnhem club some hope. Next season, the youngster will be playing at Feyenoord alongside fellow Algeria international Ramiz Zerrouki.
