Everton looking to sign Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi in swap deal

Michy Batshuayi could soon be leaving Chelsea to sign for Everton in a swap deal.

The Belgian striker returned to the London club this summer after an impressive loan spell at Besiktas but they’re keen to move him on before the end of the window and he’s keen to leave for good.

A number of clubs from a number of countries have been interested in signing him, but it now looks like he’ll be staying in England, heading north to Everton.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, Frank Lampard’s side are keen on getting the striker in return should Chelsea take Anthony Gordon from them, having reportedly bid around €45 million for the winger.

The journalist states that Lampard has already taken a look at the 28-year-old and given his approval.

Batshuayi would be a key player at Everton if he were to join with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury leaving them short on strikers.
