Voetbalkrant are reporting that Eupen winger Konan N’Dri is attracting interest from French side Lille. The report states that a French source believes that Lille could move for the Ivorian as a replacement for Jonathan Bamba, should the Ivorian leave. N’Dri, also from the Cote d’Ivoire, was one of Eupen’s better players in a difficult season. The 22-year-old scored seven goals and provided two assists in 33 appearances for the Pandas this season. He ended as the sides joint top scorer with Stef Peeters.
Eupen are set for an interesting summer, with the aforementioned Peeters already set to depart when his contract expires in the summer of 2023. Bosnian international Smail Prevljak will also depart when his contract expires, with KV Mechelen showing interest in the striker. The club are also searching for a new head coach, as they parted ways with Ed Still following the sides 7-0 defeat to Club Brugge to finish the season. Thankfully for Eupen, they survived on the final day as Cercle Brugge managed to beat Zulte Waregem.
