Eredivisie preview | NEC Nijmegen vs PSV

PSV Eindhoven travel to Stadion de Goffert on Saturday evening as they look to close the gap on Eredivisie leaders Feyenoord. The Rood-witten are eight points behind the summit with 12 games left to play, but face a tough test against NEC Nijmegen, who have won four of their last six matches.

Their opponents have been unbeaten in 13 home games since August and will be looking to take a step closer to securing continental football with a win here.

PSV have won each of the last 10 editions of this fixture across all competitions, dating back to 2013, but they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Vitesse a fortnight ago.

NEC Nijmegen come into the game off the back of a 3-1 win over RKC Waalwijk before the international break and are currently eighth in the table, four points behind FC Utrecht in the race for the final Conference League playoff spot.

Saturday’s hosts will be hoping to continue their impressive run of form and record a fourth win in six matches, while PSV will be eager to get back to winning ways and reduce the gap to the league leaders.

Here is the latest form ahead of the match:

NEC: D-W-W-L-W

PSV: W-W-W-W-W
