Eden Hazard rejects offer to join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami

Voetbalkrant are reporting that Eden Hazard has turned down an offer from Inter Miami. The side, owned by David Beckham, has already attracted Lionel Messi to join the project and wanted to bring Hazard along as well. However, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid attacker is not keen on leaving Europe to live in the USA. There were rumors that Hazard may come to Belgium to join Anderlecht, however the club have ruled out a move for Hazard.

The 32-year-old began his professional career in France with Lille, where he made 194 games, scoring 50 goals and providing 53 assists. Chelsea made the winger their main target and in the summer of 2012 they brought him to the Premier League. Hazard will go down as one of the best players to grace the turf at Stamford Bridge, where he won two Premier League titles. Over the years he spent in England the Belgian winger made over 300 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 110 goals and providing 92 assists.

After years of speculation he finally left England to join Real Madrid. Unfortunately, Hazard was not able to replicate the form he had shown in England and France for the Spanish giants. He only managed seven goals and four assists for the club.

At international level, Hazard captained Belgium and made 126 appearances, scoring 33 goals.
