Dutch talent Jayden Braaf leaves Borussia Dortmund to join Hellas Verona on a permanent deal

Fabrizio Romano reports that Dutch forward Jayden Braaf has left Borussia Dortmund after Hellas Verona triggered their €1m buy option. Braaf spent last season on loan with the Serie A side after joining from Dortmund in January. The 20-year-old forward featured six times as Verona finished 17th in the league, narrowly avoiding relegation. Now the forward has signed a permanent three-year deal with the club.

Born in Amsterdam, Braaf kicked off his career in the Ajax youth academy before switching to PSV Eindhoven’s youth setup. In 2018 he joined Manchester City’s academy, where he played 24 times for the U21s, scoring 12 goals. After a short loan spell with Udinese, Dortmund signed the rapid winger. He played seven times for their U21s but was never given the opportunity to play for the first team. Now, his return to Serie A is confirmed and he’s certainly a player to look out for in the future. Jayden Braaf can play as a striker or on either wing.
