Columbus Crew interested in out of favour Kortrijk defender Aleksandar Radovanović

As reported by Elian Coussement, Columbus Crew are interested in bringing Aleksandar Radovanović to the MLS. The Serbian central-defender has been out of favour at Kortrijk since new head coach Bernd Storck was appointed, with the German adamant that he would not consider the defender for selection going forward. Since then, Radovanović has been training with the B team and looking to find a move away. The deal looks set to be a loan for the 29-year-old.

Radovanović is not the only Kortrijk player that Storck no longer counts on for the relegation battle. Both Kevin Vandendriessche and on loan Antwerp defender Dorian Dessoleil are no longer part of the clubs plans and have been training with the B team.

During the winter window, the club have signed Martin Wasinski from Charleroi, Hertha Berlin young defender Christalino Atemona, winger Martin Regali from Slovakian side Ruzomberok and Nikolas Dyhr from Midtjylland on loan until the end of the season.

Despite a promosing start under Storck, Kortrijk are struggling once again. After their 1-0 defeat to Sint-Truiden at the weekend, KV Kortrijk have now won just one of their past five games in the league.
