Cody Gakpo’s agents and Manchester United have “more or less” agreed on what the player’s personal terms will be should he join the club.
Man Utd have been linked with the PSV winger throughout the transfer window, and those links have become more concrete in recent times with the English side readying an offer.
While he’s not trying to force a move quite as much as Antony’s Ajax is, it has been widely reported that he’s interested in joining compatriot Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Now, according to the Eindhovens Dagblad, Gakpo’s entourage and Man Utd have now largely agreed on what his personal terms will be if he is indeed signed.
However, they also state that that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll choose to leave PSV if an offer is accepted. Instead, he’s focusing on the second leg of the Champions League play-off with Rangers and will think about his future afterwards.
Man Utd are expected to make an official bid in the coming days, with the Eindhoven side planning to hold out for a minimum of €50 million.
