Club Brugge teenager Chemsdine Talbi on many European clubs wish lists

Voetbalkrant are reporting that many European clubs are interested in 17 year-old Club Brugge midfielder Chemsdine Talbi. Clubs such as Lille, Leipzig, Wolfsburg, PSV, Ajax, Monaco, Sassuolo, Salzburg and Frankfurt are all reportedly interested in the former Tubize man. The teenager recently signed a new contract with Club Brugge until 2025.

Talbi joined Club Brugge’s academy in 2015 from lower league side Tubize and has played 15 matches for the second team Club Nxt this season. The midfielder has scored twice and provided three assists.

Club Brugge have already lost one teenager to the Bundesliga during this winter transfer window, with Arne Engels moving to Augsburg. At the other end of the spectrum, 34 year-old former club captain Ruud Vormer also departed the club, joining relegation threatened Zulte-Waregem.

Ajax are also reportedly interested in Club Brugge’s talented young central defender Abakar Sylla. The 19 year-old Ivorian has been an impressive performer for the defending Belgian champions in both the domestic league and the Champions League. He has played 15 matches in all competitions, scoring once.
