Club Brugge reject €18m offer from Lille for Noa Lang

Club Brugge have rejected an €18m offer for Noa Lang from Lille, deeming the amount too little.

At the start of the summer, it looked like Lang would leave the Pro League champions for a bigger league with the likes of AC Milan and Leeds interested.

However, a move never materialized and in the last few weeks the Dutchman has come to terms with staying at his current club until January at the least.

Now though, a last-minute formal offer has been made courtesy of Lille, who Het Laatste Nieuws say have bid €18m for the 23-year-old.

However, Club Brugge have quickly rejected it, believing that their player is worth far more than that, wanting upwards of €20m for him.

With mere hours left of the summer transfer window, Lille will have to decide quickly whether they’re willing to offer more. Otherwise, he’ll remain in Belgium until after the World Cup.
