Club Brugge may be without Andreas Skov Olsen for Benfica clash

As reported by Het Nieuwsblad, Club Brugge head coach Scott Parker was unable to confirm that Andreas Skov Olsen would be available for the first leg of the Champions League tie with Benfica. Skov Olsen has been suffering with a hip injury for a while, and despite playing 90 minutes at the end of January against Zulte Waregem it appears that the Danish international is still struggling with the issue.

Skov Olsen has scored seven league goals in 18 matches, as well as providing three assists. He also scored one goal in the Champions League and provided one assist. The goal came in Club Brugge’s impressive 4-0 victory over Porto in the second match of the group stages.

Club face Benfica in the first leg on the 15th of February. The first leg will take place at the Jan Breydal, before Club will travel to Portugal on the 7th of March.
