Club Brugge looking to bring Barcelona UEFA youth league sensation Victor Barberá to Belgium in the summer

HLN and various news outlets are reporting that Club Brugge are on the verge of signing Victor Barberá on a contract that will begin in the summer of 2023. Barberá will follow in the foot steps of fellow ex-Barcelona player Ferran Jutgla, who joined Club Brugge in the summer of 2022. Rather than extend his contract with the Catalan club, Barberá looks to be set for a move to Belgium.

Barberá has been in good form when it comes the the UEFA youth league, scoring an impressive seven goals in four games. This included a hat-trick against Bayern Munich. For Barcelona B, he has played 15 times this season, scoring six.

Club Brugge have been linked with another striker this window, with Timothy Weah of interest on loan. They have also seen players depart, with Arne Engels and former captain Ruud Vormer leaving during the winter transfer window, while Noah Mbamba is joining Bayer Leverkusen.
