Club Brugge wonโt be letting Raphael Onyedika leave this January. According to HLN, the Belgian side have continued to reject bids from Turkish giants Galatasaray for their Nigerian star midfielder. Galatasaray have been interested in signing Onyedika for some time now, but Club Brugge have consistently rejected their approaches for the Nigerian midfielder.
Club Brugge are not adverse to selling Onyedika for the right price, but if Galatasaray want to sign him in January, it will take an offer that simply cannot be refused. This summer will be different, as Onyedikaโs contract with Club Brugge runs until 2027. Galatasaray may well have to wait until the end of the season, but their patience could be rewarded if Onyedika shows no indication of signing a new deal with Club Brugge. Given there is plenty of interest in him, the Nigerian midfielder would likely decline a new deal in order to push through a move away.
Since joining Club Brugge in 2022, the now 24-year-old has been a key player in Club Bruggeโs midfield. He has played 165 games for the Belgian side, scoring eight goals. Onyedika left FC MIdtjylland after winning one Danish title and Danish Cup. With Club Brugge, the midfielder has won the league and cup.
