Chelsea only willing to let Hakim Ziyech join Ajax on a permanent basis

Chelsea are only willing to sell Hakim Ziyech to Ajax permanently, and their asking price is currently too high for the Dutch club.

With Antony looking more and more likely to leave for Manchester United, Ajax have decided they want Ziyech to replace him, and have largely agreed personal terms with their former player.

However, reaching a deal with Chelsea is seemingly proving to be more difficult, according to well-informed Twitter user @Hamstelaar.

Ajax were reportedly looking to sign the Morrocan on an initial loan deal, but the London club apparently are only willing to sell him permanently.

What’s more, their asking price is said to be too high for the Eredivisie champions’ liking at the moment, and if it doesn’t drop, they’ll have to move on to other targets.

What that asking price is exactly is unclear, but with Antony set to leave for as much as €100m, not paying it would undoubtedly be a choice.
