Free agent Ché Nunnely trains with Heracles Almelo

Heracles Almelo have a new face on the training field from today as Ché Nunnely (26) is set to train with the first team in the coming days.

The club describe Nunnely as “a versatile winger with extensive Eredivisie experience.” In the past six seasons, he played 149 matches at the highest level, first for Willem II and then recently for SC Heerenveen. He scored 20 goals in those matches.

“Ché is on our radar as an agile and fast winger,” says technical director Nico-Jan Hoogma. “He knows the Eredivisie, comes from the Ajax academy and is a free agent. We think he can be an interesting option for Heracles Almelo.”

Earlier, the Dutch youth international also proved impressive for Jong Ajax. Between 2017 and 2019, he scored 10 goals in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.
