Charleroi have announced the signing of Vetle Dragsnes from Lillestrøm. The 29-year-old, who can play as a left-midfielder or as a left-back, has signed a three-year contract with the Zebras, with an option for an extra year. So far this season, the Norwegian has played 19 Eliteserien games, scoring once and providing three assists. Lillestrøm are currently sixth in the league, seven points off of the top three.
Dragsnes began his career with Strømmen, playing two seasons for the side. In the winter of 2016 he joined Ullensaker/Kisa for a season and a half, playing 45 times and scoring once. In 2017 he joined Mjøndalen, where he made 112 appearances between 2017 and 2020, scoring four goals. He has been with his current side since January 2021, with 91 appearances in total and 11 goals. Last season he scored five goals and provided three assists.
Charleroi have been active near the deadline, signing young Ivorian winger Parfait Guiagon from Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv.
