Rudy Galetti has revealed that Cercle Brugge are hoping to sign Luton Town defender Christ Makosso. The defender has previously played in the Belgian Pro League with RWDM. Cercle Brugge want to sign the Luton Town defender on loan, with an option to buy for between โฌ3.5/4m.
The 21-year-old Makosso joined Luton Town from RWDM back in January 2025. During his first half season with Luton Town, the defender played 13 games. Unfortunately, Luton Town were relegated from the Championship, a back to back relegation after they fell out of the Premier League. So far this season Makosso has played 15 games for Luton Town.
Cercle Brugge are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements and could certainly do with the likes of Makosso. The side are currently second bottom in the Belgian Pro League and have conceded 30 goals in 21 games. The oldest central defender in the squad at the moment is Edgaras Utkus at 25.
