Cercle Brugge face injury concerns ahead of clash with Anderlecht

Cercle Brugge will go into their clash with Anderlecht without three key players. Christiaan Ravych, Thibo Somers and Leonardo Da Silva Lopes are all set to miss the game through injury. Unfortunately, all three are set to miss a number of weeks. Ravych is expected to be out for six, Lopez eight and Somers is yet to be fully diagnosed. All three have been key members of the starting 11 that has guided the team to fourth place with seven wins in 12 games.

Miron Muslic does have a few options to replace the trio, with Nils De Wilde and Flavio Nazinho likely to come in for Lopez. Lithuanian defender Edgaras Utkus will probably join Boris Popovic and Jesper Daland in the sides back three. There are plenty of options for Music to replace Somers, with Alan Minda and Kazeem Olaigbe having shown this season that they have the ability to score goals at the Pro League level.

Ahead of the game, Anderlecht head coach Brian Riemer has compared the side to Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United.
