Cercle Brugge bring in Brazilian teenager on loan from Fluminense

Cercle Brugge have announced the signing of Erick Nunes Barbosa dos Santos on loan from Brazilian side Fluminense, with the deal including an option to extend the loan for another season. The 19-year-old is the sides third signing of the winter window after Noah de Ridder and Felipe Augusto joined a few days ago. The latter will certainly help Erick adjust to life in Belgium, with both being Brazilian teenagers.

Erick has yet to make a first team appearance for Fluminense, who finished seventh in the Brazilian Serie A last year. However, Cercle have shown an ability to develop young talent over the past few seasons so he should get a chance to prove himself at the side should he be selected.

Cercle look set to see at least one player depart this January. Young Ivorian attacker Yann Gboho looks set to return to Ligue 1 and join Toulouse for a few million euros.
