Cercle Brugge attacker set for €2.5m switch to Toulouse

Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Toulouse are set to sign Yann Gboho from Cercle Brugge for around €2.5m. The 22-year-old Ivorian has played 20 games for Cercle in the Pro League this season, providing three assists. It is understood that he will not be joining the side in Monaco for a winter training camp as the talks between the clubs are finalised.

Gboho can operate on either wing or behind the striker. He has shown fantastic technical ability, although his final product is still a work in progress. Since signing for Cercle on a free from Rennes in the summer of 2022 he has played 52 games, scoring four goals. He has also been capped by the French youth team, having begun his career with Rennes. Between 2018 and 2021 he made 32 appearances for the Ligue 1 club, scoring three goals.

It is likely that, should Gboho make the switch back to France. Cercle will be in the market for a replacement.
