Sacha Tavolieri has revealed that Celta Vigo are getting close to a deal with Club Brugge for the signing of striker Ferran Jutgla. The former Barcelona striker is expected to leave Belgium this season and a move to La Liga and Celta Vigo looks the most likely. According to Tavolieri, the clubs are still not in full agreement but the Spanish club are getting closer to what Club Brugge are looking for.
The 26-year-old striker scored 14 goals in 54 games for the side this season, just one shy of his 15 goal best season for the club during the 2022/2023 campaign. Jutgla joined Club Brugge from Barcelona that season, where he had played nine games for the Catalan giants, scoring twice. Jutgla looks set to leave the side with 40 goals in 148 games, which includes a handful during successful Champions League campaigns.
For Club, their striker situation appears more settled now with the recent contract renewal for young star Romeo Vermant.
