Can free scoring PSV continue their form against Juventus?

PSV go into their Champions League clash with Juventus full of confidence. The side from Eindhoven have won all five of their opening Eredivisie games without much fuss. The side have scored an incredible 20 goals so far, including a 7-1 win over Almere City. They also beat RKC Waalwijk 5-1 to start the season and have kept two clean sheets in their last two matches.

New signings Ryan Flamingo has slotted in well, while Joey Veerman has continued where he left of last season with four assist to his name already. Malik Tillman, Luuk de Jong, Guus Til and Hirving Lozano are all off the mark already this season, with Lozano having four goals already.

PSV certainly have two tough away fixtures this campaign in PSG and firstly Juventus. The Italian side, now under the guidance of Thiago Motta, currently sit third in Serie A and are yet to concede a goal. However, they have only managed two 0-0 draws in their most recent matches against Roma and Empoli.

Peter Bosz’s sides are known for their enterprising attacking football, already on show to start this season. Juventus should be wary of how well the Dutch side are playing. They should be confident of returning to the Netherlands with at least a point to open their Champions League campaign.
