Brighton & Hove Albion’s Kacper Kozlowski rejoins Vitesse on loan

Polish teenager Kacper Kozlowski has extended his stay at Vitesse, Brighton and Hove Albion have confirmed.

Kozlowski, the 19-year-old midfielder, will be continuing his journey with Vitesse for another year. After a successful loan spell from Brighton and Hove Albion, it was a no-brainer for the Dutch club to extend his stay.

The decision to keep Kozlowski, pictured while playing for Poland against Sweden, was an easy one for Vitesse, as his debut season exceeded expectations. The midfielder’s impressive performances on the pitch convinced the club that he was worth retaining.

The Albion recognised Vitesse as a conducive environment for Kozlowski’s development, making the extension process relatively smooth.

Technical director Benjamin Schmedes expressed his satisfaction with the decision. He said: “Kacper’s first season went so well that we wanted to keep him on board for another year. His return was facilitated by the fact that he was in a similar situation with Brighton, who trust our club to provide a nurturing atmosphere for his growth.

It’s fantastic that he will be able to participate in the entire training camp in Austria. Kacper possesses well-known qualities; he is technically gifted, highly skilled, and versatile in his positions. We are delighted to have him strengthen our squad once again.”

For Kozlowski, it was an easy choice to continue his journey with Vitesse. He expressed his contentment with the club, attributing it to the camaraderie with his teammates, the support from the staff, and the welcoming atmosphere created by his colleagues.

Most importantly, he recognised the club’s role in his personal development. he said: “I have noticed that I can develop myself very well here. I hope to continue making significant progress next season, both individually and as part of the team.”

With Kozlowski’s decision to extend his loan spell, Vitesse secures a talented and promising player for another year. The club is confident that his presence will contribute to their success in the upcoming season.
