Scouts from Borussia Dortmund and Lyon were in attendance to watch Orkun Kokcu in Feyenoords’ match against FC Midtjylland.
Kokcu has been one of the most impressive players in the Netherlands for a long time now and his performances have attracted the interest of clubs from Europe’s major leagues.
Specifically, Borussia Dortmund and Lyon are both keeping a close eye on the midfielder, with 1908 reporting that scouts from both clubs attended Feyenoord’s latest match to watch him. The site also states that Dortmund have been watching him in person since last year.
The scouts would have no doubt been impressed by what they saw, with Kokcu performing well at the heart of midfield in Feyenoord’s 3-3 draw.
His ever-impressive form and development, and the fact that his contract lasts until 2025, means that it will cost either club a lot of money to sign the 21-year-old anytime soon.
