Bayer Leverkusen loan Italian prospect to AZ Alkmaar

AZ Alkmaar are signing Andrea Natali from Bayer Leverkusen on loan. According to VI’s Simon Zwartkruis, the 17-year-old talent will join Jong AZ.

Natali will partly train with Maarten Martens’ first team, but in principle, he will play his matches in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Natali has already experienced a lot in football despite his youthful years. After a formative stint with Bologna, 2020 saw him swap AC Milan for Espanyol.

A year later, city rivals Barcelona signed him. Last summer, Leverkusen that snapped up the Italian youth international. This loan offer is just for a season, it seems, without an option to buy.
