Erik ten Hagโs staff at Bayer Leverkusen will be bolstered by the arrival of Rogier Meijer. Andries Ulderink will also join the Dutch trainerโs team.
Meijer left NEC Nijmegen in May, where he had worked successfully as head coach for five years. Shortly after this, the 43-year-old coach was linked to Germany with a role as Ten Hagโs assistant. Leverkusen announced that that will indeed happen, with Meijer reporting to the training complex on Monday.
The same goes for Ulderink. He worked as head coach at Go Ahead Eagles, De Graafschap, and, until recently, Royal Antwerp. For a while, he seemed on his way to Ajax Cape Town, but a position as one of Ten Hagโs right-hand men is his preference.
