AZ Alkmaar are looking for a fresh replacement following the departure of Jayden Addai. According to VoetbalPrimeur, the winger has earned the Alkmaar team 16 million euros with his move to Como, and now part of that must be invested in a new winger. Brazilian Weslley โPatatiโ Pinto Batista (21) is in the picture as a successor.
Patati currently plays for Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv after they signed him from Santos last summer for 1.5 million euros. There, he has displayed some eye-catching performances, scoring 14 goals and providing nine assists in 39 matches.
The winger has not only attracted the interest of AZ, but also Al Wahda and Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.
According to Brazilian sports newspaper UOL Esporte, AZ has reportedly already made 3-5 million euro bid for the winger. However, Maccabi are said to want five million euros for Patati. Al Wahda and Al Ain have tried to pry the playmaker loose for four million euros.
