A number of Belgian Pro League clubs are interested in Lierse midfielder Guillaume De Schryver according to Voetbalkrant. The 26-year-old midfielder grabbed 11 assists across all competitions this season, while also chipping in with six goals. The paper has revealed that the player has a release clause of just €50k, making him a bargain for plenty of sides in the Pro League.
The former Cercle Brugge man joined Lierse from Westerlo in the summer of 2021 and has a contract that runs until 2024. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €400k, meaning that anyone willing to pay the release clause will be getting the player on an incredible deal.
The club have been active on incomings already, bringing in Kortrijk winger Eric Ocansey.
Lierse qualified for the promotion play-offs this season, yet failed to maintain a title push. The side have one of the lower budgets in the league but managed to punch above their weight for the majority of the season. Instead, it was RWDM who won promotion ahead of SK Beveren. Next season they will be joined in the second tier by Zulte Waregem, RFC Seraing and KV Oostende.
