Anderlecht have rejected a bid of an initial €13 million plus a further €2 million in bonuses from Manchester City for Sergio Gomez.
After missing out on signing Marc Cucurella, the English club have turned their attention to Gomez in their search for a new left-back.
It was reported earlier this week that Anderlecht wouldn’t let him leave for anything less than €15 million up-front, and that appears to be the case.
According to Sacha Tavolieri, they have turned down a bid from Man City that would see them receive €13 million now and a further €2 million in bonuses at a later date.
The journalist says that the player himself is very keen on the move and has already agreed personal terms with Pep Guardiola and co, who have offered him a four-year contract.
Discussions are now continuing with Anderlecht waiting to see if Man City will meet their asking price.
