Het Nieuwsblad is reporting that Anderlecht are set to sign Ukrainian striker Danylo Sikan from Trabzonspor. According to reports, Anderlecht will part with โฌ3.5m to bring Sikan to Belgium this January. The now 24-year-old only joined Turkish side Trabzonspor 12 months ago from Shakthar Donetsk but looks to be set to leave.
Sikan made his name with the Ukrainian side, scoring 16 goals in 42 games during the 2023/2024 campaign. He managed four in 19 the following season before leaving to join Trabzonspor. Sikan hasnโt quite hit the heights with the side just yet, scoring three goals in 18 games during the last six months of the previous season. So far this campaign he has scored four goals in 16 games. He has only started one of the 13 Super Lig matches that he has appeared in. With Paul Onuachu and Felipe Augusto having scored 19 goals between them, clearly Trabzonspor are happy to cash in on Sikan and let him leave for Anderlecht this January.
Sikan looks set to be one of two players that Anderlecht will sign this winter window. Goalkeeper Justin Heekeren is heavily linked to joining Anderlecht from Schalke 04 in the coming days.
