Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Anderlecht are interested in 22-year-old striker Luiz Vazquez. The Argentinian striker currently plays for Boca Juniors and is reportedly keen for a move to Belgium. Last season Club Brugge considered making an offer for the striker, yet decided against it. It is believed that Boca Juniors are looking for around €5m and are currently considering an offer from Anderlecht.
In seven league games this season, the striker has failed to score. Overall, he has scored 13 goals in 91 games for the club, alongside six assists.
Anderlecht are in the market for a striker, with the future of Algerian veteran forward Islam Slimani still up in the air. Reports have suggested that both sides are keen to find a deal, yet so far nothing has been finalised. The 34-year-old joined in January and scored nine goals in 14 games, a much better return than the two in 18 he scored for Brest in the first half of the season.
