Anderlecht interested in Ukrainian international Viktor Tsygankov

HLN and others are reporting that Anderlecht, despite their financial restrictions, are interested in Dynamo Kyiv’s Viktor Tsygankov. The 25 year-old winger is valued at around 22 million euros, meaning Anderlecht would certainly have to sell in order to finance the deal. Tsygankov has been capped over 40 times for the Ukranian national team, and so far this season he has scored 9 goals and provided six assists in 23 games across all competitions.

Despite the finances involved, the winger’s deal with his current club expires at the end of the season. HLN believes that the player is unlikely to sign a new deal given the uncertain situation in Ukraine with the war, giving Anderlecht a chance to either sign the player at a cut price in the winter window or wait till the summer of 2023.

Anderlecht are looking at sales, with club captain Hendrik Van Crombrugge being told he no longer features in the clubs plans.
