Anderlecht interested in Manchester United’s French prospect Noam Emeran

Footmercato are reporting that Anderlecht are one of a number of sides interested in bringing Manchester United’s Noam Emeran in on loan. The 20-year-old French winger has impressed in pre-season, garnering interest from a number of clubs in England and Europe who are looking to see if the player is available for a loan period. Emeran is yet to make a first team appearance for the side in league or cup, but has played 36 games for the Manchester United U21 side, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.

As a son of former Rwanda international Fritz Emeran Nkusi, Emeran is also eligible to represent the African nation. His father is no stranger to Belgium, having spent time playing for a variety of clubs such as Genk and KV Mechelen during his career. Emeran Nkusi was originally born in Guadeloupe, but gained Rwandan citizenship after he married a Rwandan woman. Emeran junior has been capped at U16 level by France.

Emeran appears to fit the profile of player that Anderlecht are looking for this summer. They have already signed Kasper Dolberg, but are in the market for a winger and a goalkeeper to strengthen the squad.
