Ajax’s Perr Schuurs agrees personal terms with Torino

Ajax defender Perr Schuurs has agreed personal terms with Torino with the two clubs nearing a deal.

With the Dutchman unlikely to get much playing at Ajax in the coming season, he has stated his desire to leave, and multiple Italian clubs have been interested in him.

Torino have been the one he’s been most heavily linked with, and he now looks set to join the Serie A side before the end of the transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that the player and the club have reached an agreement on personal terms and that the contract is now ready to be signed.

All that’s left to do for Torino is reach a deal with Ajax, and Romano states that negotiations are ongoing on that front, with a bid of €9 million plus bonuses being discussed.

The Dutch club already have a replacement lined up in the form of Ahmetcan Kaplan, who is set to join for around €10 million.
