Jakov Medic (26) is leaving Ajax. The club has almost reached an agreement with Norwich City on the transfer of the Croatian, for which Ajax will receive approximately two million euros.
The transfer is still subject to formalities and paperwork, but Ajax and Norwich City have almost reached an agreement on the fee. The Amsterdammers will receive around two million for Medic. This could increase slightly due to bonuses. Ajax paid around three million to St. Pauli for Medic in 2023.
Medic will be remembered at Ajax for his wonder goal in his debut match against Heracles Almelo, but after that, the defender mainly sat on the bench. Ajax loaned Medic to VfL Bochum last season. The club had an option to buy, which was only valid if they stayed in the Bundesliga, but they were relegated.
