Ajax interested in 18-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Eyüp Aydin

Ajax are targeting a move for Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Eyüp Aydin, according to Florian Plettenberg. The highly rated 18-year-old has featured 24 times this season for Bayern Munich II. Ajax’s interest is at an early stage, but they have a plan in mind to develop the teenager in the Jong Ajax squad before he potentially moves into the first team.

Bayern Munich have valued Eyüp Aydin at approximately €1m. The youngster has previously represented Germany’s U15s and U16s. This season the midfielder scored three goals and provided four assists in his 24 appearances for Bayern’s U23s as they finished third in the Bavarian Regionalliga. 

Recently multiple Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga clubs have been monitoring the youngster, but a move to Amsterdam could be the best move for his development. Aydin has occasionally been training with the first team this season. Now the youngster feels ready to make the next step up in his career and is willing to make the move away from Bavaria.
