Remko Pasveer looks set to leave Ajax this month. As reported by VI, the veteran goalkeeper, who has still been playing for the side a number of times this season, wants to return to former club Heracles. The current Ajax goalkeeper is hoping that a return to Heracles can help the club he once played for avoid relegation from the Eredivisie.
Pasveer joined Ajax on a free transfer back in 2021 and likely didnโt expect to end up playing 100 games for the side. Between 2010 and 2014 Pasveer played for Heracles, making 150 appearances for the side. He has since played for both PSV and Vitesse before ending up at Ajax. Last aseason Pasveer played the most games of his Ajax career with 43, and he even managed to grab an assist in the Eredivisie. This season he has played seven games.
Pasveerโs desired destination is a Heracles side currently sitting bottom of the Eredivisie. After a brief new manager bounce under Hendrie Kreuzen, the side have now gone on a run of just one win and one draw in eight games since appointing Ernest Faber as head coach.
