Ajax enquire about AC Milan midfielder Yacine Adli

According to Matteo Moretto, Ajax have made an enquiry for AC Milan midfielder Yacine Adli. The 23-year-old former French youth international can play as an attacking midfielder or in left midfield. Adli featured just six times in Serie A last season, totalling just 140 minutes worth of football. The lack of game time could make him open to a move away from Milan, but it’s not known whether the club actually want to sell the former PSG academy graduate.

Adli previously spent three-and-a-half seasons of his career playing with Bordeaux in Ligue 1. The youngster featured 68 times for the French side before making the €8.5m move to Milan in the summer of 2021. Adli was immediately loaned back to Bordeaux for the 21/22 campaign and he made 36 more appearances as the club were relegated to the second tier.

A move to Ajax could be on the cards for Yacine Adli. Despite only playing six times last season for AC Milan, the midfielder has plenty of potential and could flourish in Amsterdam. Adli could be a replacement for Davy Klaassen, who has been linked with a move away from the club.
