Ajax and PSV Eindhoven keeping tabs on Tottenham’s Troy Parrott during impressive loan spell with Excelsior

According to The 42, Ajax and PSV Eindhoven are interested in Tottenham striker Troy Parrott as he continues to impress on loan with Excelsior Rotterdam. Parrott, 22, has previously experienced loan spells with Millwall, Ipswich, MK Dons and Preston, but he’s struggled to stay consistent in England. This season, with Excelsior he’s netted seven times in 18 Eredivisie appearances. An incredible return for the Republic of Ireland international.

Both Ajax and PSV are keeping tabs on Troy Parrot, who is under contract in North London until 2025. Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar are also said to be admirers of the striker, and a move to one of the Dutch giants could take place this summer.

Parrott has only appeared twice for Tottenham in the Premier League, meaning a move away from the club after his loan spell with Excelsior could be on the cards. Ajax in particular are in desperate need of a goalscorer, after last weekend’s 3-2 defeat to Heerenveen left them fifth in the Eredivisie table. Troy Parrott has proved that he can do it with Excelsior, so this summer could be the perfect time for a step up in the Netherlands.
