Adnan Custovic out as Kortrijk manager after just 12 games in charge

Adnan Custovic has been sacked by Kotrijk after just 12 matches in charge. Under Custovic, the Kerels picked up only 11 points from a possible 63. The two wins that Custovic picked up were in his first game against Eupen, as well as a heated affair against then unbeaten Antwerp. However, since the Antwerp win the club have only picked up two points.

Possible successors to Custovic are already being named in the media. Bernd Storck, who was Eupen manager to start the season, has been mentioned, while recently sacked Oostende manager Yves Vanderhaeghe has also had his name come up in rumours. The club have announced they will announce a successor as soon as possible.

Kortrijk’s final game with Custovic in charge was a 4-0 defeat at home to Gent, leaving them second bottom with only 12 points. After 17 matches the club have won three games, drawn three and lost 11.
