As per reports from 1908nl and ESPN, AC Milan are tracking Feyenoord’s Mexican sharp-shooter Santi Gimenez (23).
The striker has been back to his old self since injury, and has scored 13 goals in 17 games in all competitions this term. According to ESPN, AC Milan have the former Cruz Azul man in their sights, although a lot still needs to happen before he may actually leave.
Although the Italian club would like to add Gimenez to their ranks, Fikayo Tomori apparently must leave before this can happen in order to help produce funds. The 23-year-old’s current transfermarkt valuation sits at €37m, and it seems that Sérgio Conceição will choose between him or Joshua Zirkzee.
1908nl deem a winter departure “rather unlikely”, as previously, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reported that Gimenez is ‘not for sale’ at the stubborn Rotterdammers in this window.
